Frank Zappa – Them or Us
Frank Zappa was one of the most prolific, talented and popularly under-appreciated composers of the 20th century. Despite inspiring or even incubating artists from Jean-Luc Ponty, Adrian Belew, Steve Vai, Terry Gilliam, John Lennon, Tommy Mars, Linda Ronstadt, Sting, Tina Turner, Johnny “Guitar” Watson and hundreds more, and even whole bands (“Missing Persons” is a band composed entirely of Zappa band-members), the bread and depth of his work and influence remains mostly unknown to most people.
