It may be unprecedented, in the last 35 years, but a major media outlet has actually decided to actually give serious treatment to a true-left party’s presidential candidate, Jill Stein.

Jill Stein and Ajamu Baraka are the Presidential and Vice presidential candidates representing The United States’ Green Party. They offer the only true alternative platform seeking to turn away from the right-wing economic policies of the last 40 years, policies embraced by the Republican, Democratic and Libertarian parties and represent a truly libertarian platform, opposing privatized prison, the surveillance state and endless wars, while promoting equality and access in education, health care and labor.

For those of us with the appropriate cable subscription, the debate will be shown on CNN and streamed on their site. For those without cable, you may be able to watch the event at the embed above, or at this link.

            You know, I end up going down a rabbit hole of links, and by the time I get back the conversations have moved on. So, I’m basically just following the tons of links the people with insane skills keep dropping.

            There is a lot to learn, but frankly, I’ve been firmly in the let it burn camp for months now, reading of the continued perfidy of the elites does nothing but stoke the fire in me that yearns for the revolution.

            I had known a few people, (quite a few) from RS and AN, but as they got culled out I had no idea where they had gone. I’m so happy to find the critical mass of dissenters united into a common community where we dissenters are in control, and not subject to some asshole moderator with a mandate to stamp us out.

            Internal exile is so damn apt.

            They gave us dailies for awhile. But the ah.. culture that has grown in this community just meant pretty much everyone not in hisec space just ignored it and went on with life.

            I’m just out of a long period living in a wormhole system and being a scary wormhole person. Gearing up to go be a part of the big bloc warfare out in nullsec. Kinda missed world war bee though. Thinking about joining up with the growing movement to purge the goons out of their new home they are attempting to build down south in the Delve region.

          • Lotro is such an aged game, and moribund as hell, that they grind is (almost) all that’s left. It’s got devestated when WB hired a couple of former Zynga idiots who spun it way out into pay-to-win land and drove away all the hard core players. All that’s left are n00b and hard-core Tolkien fans (like me), determined to see the end, which looks like it will be next year.

            Fortunately, I’ve played enough Eve to know what you’re talking about. LOL.

            Eve is going on 14 now. They continue to add, nerf, buff, and change systems. Its unlike anything else I’ve ever been a part of. Battles have involved over 2000 pilots slugging it out in 23 hour brawls, with an additional couple thousand involved i interdiction fleets in other systems, trying to prevent reinforcements. Its not an every day thing, but the big wars have been mind blowing.

            Nothing like watching 500 ships drop out of warp right on top of you. then seeing someone pop a cyno beacon and then having a hundred plus capital ships, supercapitals, and titans jump into system and hot drop right on top of you.

            The adrenaline can get so bad with PVP that you just get the shakes and wobbly stomach. Its a real rush. I’ve never had that kind of a reaction to PVP in any other game. Mostly because you dont just spawn in for free, you gotta work for ships to pew with and get blown up in.

    Just back a while ago from grocery shopping, but before I left the house to do that I got to watch most of the Town Hall on the boob tube (I have it recorded, I’ll probably finish the last 20 minutes of it tomorrow). The one thing that bothered me is I disliked how the moderator dwelled on Baraka’s beef with Obama and Bernie too much.

They just refuse to believe it yet because they worship money, which makes the super-rich oil companies gods in their eyes.

    In the not-too-distant future, only millionaires and billionaires will be able to afford enough water for all their needs. The rest of us will have to ration water to our families. Can you imagine having your child go thirsty because you don’t have enough money to buy water for everyone in your family? We need to act now.

    There is no need to keep violating Mother Earth when renewable sources have the potential to provide much cheaper energy and provide more jobs than oil currently does. But Big Oil will never let the country make the switch, even if it means the destruction of the entire planet.
