But this is likely a sign of weakness. To expose your hand though overt power games is an act of desperation. It will precipitate a counter reaction politically. The same is true when you appoint the CEO of Exxon, Rex Tillerson, Secretary of State. If hidden power is forced into the open it becomes weaker and more easily countered:

Should Putin liberate the Golan Heights?

In the wake of yet another United Nations vote reaffirming the unanimous position of the international community — that every square centimeter of land stolen by Israel in its 1967 war of aggression must be
relinquished – Russian President Vladimir Putin has an unprecedented opportunity to bring peace to the Middle East and inaugurate a new multipolar era in international relations. He can do so by liberating the Occupied Golan Heights and returning it to to its rightful owner, the government of Syria.

Putin should immediately declare and enforce a no-fly zone over Golan. Russia has the anti-aircraft capabilities to do this. Then he should give the Israeli squatters one week to evacuate.

US Backed FSA Torture Centers, Mass Graves Uncovered in Aleppo

Mass graves of torture victims have been uncovered in the Syrian city of Aleppo, the Russian Defense Ministry announced on December 26.

“Mass burial sites of many dozens [of Syrians], who had been subjected to brutal torture and [then] murdered, have been found,” Maj. Gen. Konashenkov said. The Russian general said that the cases are being thoroughly recorded as heavy war crimes to be put to maximum publicity “so that European backers of the so-called opposition in London and Paris are well aware of who their wards actually are.”

I mentioned the north pole being 50 degrees warmer than normal on a day it was in the 30’s here in Michigan. He understands that we have a huge problem. If it had been like that in Michigan that day it would have been over 80 degrees in January. Nothing unusual about that right?
