    Pentagon Caught Paying PR Firm $540 Million to Make Fake Terrorist Videos

    According to a new joint investigation by the Sunday Times and the Bureau of Investigative Journalism, the Pentagon paid a PR firm based in the U.K. over half a billion dollars to make fake terrorist videos in Iraq as part of an enormous propaganda campaign.

    Bell Pottinger film crews went on location to tape low definition bombings by Al Qaeda, which would then be edited appropriately for believability, voiced over in Arabic, and distributed to TV stations in

    These are the EU’s reported plans to break up Google’s monopoly powers

    The European Commission has three outstanding antitrust charges against Google. They are far from settled, but documents leaked to Reuters Oct. 1 provide some clarity on how the European Union’s executive arm plans to deal with Google’s alleged abuse of dominance.

    According to the leaked documents, the commission plans to impose a heavy fine on the search giant at a level “which will be sufficient to ensure deterrence.” Google could be fined a maximum of 10% of its annual global revenue, or as much as $7.5 billion based on its 2015 revenue. The EU’s biggest fine for abuse of a dominant position was levied on Intel in 2009 at $1.44 billion. The biggest antitrust fine ever levied by the EU stands at $3.23 billion and was imposed on Daimler, Volvo, MAN, and others in July for participating in a cartel that was fixing prices.

    Before I get into the links here, I read the article on Body Cameras last night. It makes a bold claim but doesn’t explain how police get more power. But it’s a legitimate point about police needing to get some consequences for turning the things off.

    Also, anyone following the Bundy trial? The defense lawyer keeps trying to turn it into a referendum on land ownership instead of defending the Bundy Boys on the charge of interfering with federal agents. Also, it turns out that their actions are turning many against their movement, not because they are kooks, but because so many have the enjoyment and use of public lands for many different purposes, they want to keep it that way.

    You guys need to check out Dan Rolle on Twitter. He’s been talking about how a woman who was hired to get signatures to get Jill on the ballot in Nevada collected fraudulent signatures on purpose — which is why they couldn’t get Jill on it there. Her name is Adrienne White, and her company is fake, and she is working for the Hillary campaign. Since Nevada is a swing state that might decide the election, they wanted to make sure that Jill wouldn’t be an option for people to vote for.

But…here’s the thing: yeah, the Democrats are okay with everything that’s happened. It’s the new normal or whatever. BUT Dems are a minority. And their numbers are dwindling every day. Of that I’m sure. The time is ripe for a third party. I say Stein keeps at it even after the election. The Greens need to push and push HARD. The 2020 election will be another historic one. Perhaps one where neither of the establishment candidates wins.

            I did! I ended up getting a new ID that I have to wear at school. I chose a particularly lovely tie and the photographer even mentioned how nice it was.             Takes me back to high school German class, and among other things, when the teacher would admonish everyone to speak “auf Deutsch bitte!”, everyone liked to be annoying, we are a very very multilingual town and it was a very multilingual high school, so when she’d say that everyone would start conversing in any/all languages we knew, lol.

      • Assange himself has pushed and benefited in personal publicity over this. The media certainly hyped it, but they didn’t make it up out of whole cloth, Assange originated and encouraged the idea that he would have an “October Surprise.”

          When did he ever say anything about a leak specifically having to do with Clinton that would somehow “destroy her”? WikiLeaks releases leaked documents to the public, usually with commentary explaining their significance. They aren’t in the business of acknowledging or correcting rumors circling around fringe media like Infowars. I’ve personally found it hilarious that Alex Jones and others have been hyping up a mythical “big reveal” and now they’re all attacking WikiLeaks because they’ve been once again duped.
