    I used to live in Nashville, Tennessee when I was in high school and for a few more years after that. Nashville was home to one of the two cemeteries where American Romanis (Gypsies) would bury their dead. They only buried on one day every year. (If I’m remembering correctly, it was the last day in April.) I used to love watching them from a friend’s house across the road. Their caravans were works of art.

      I was in England for a while and went to see this place. The part of the yard I remember was behind an old iron fence and was all overgrown with weeds.
